Head Start Accepting Applications for 4-yr Old Classes

Head Start is now accepting applications for two new 4-yr old classes starting in January 2010. For more information or if you know of someone who may be eligible have them call (540) 368-2559.  For more information, please use the links below.

Stafford Schools Closed During Winter Break

All Stafford County schools and offices will close at the end of business on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, and remain closed through Sunday, January 3, 2010.  Public services will not be available during this time.  Scheduled activities (such as athletic events or building use authorized for outside organizations) will continue as previously scheduled. 

Students and staff will report back to school on Monday, January 4, 2010.  New residents wishing to enroll a student should contact the registrar at the appropriate school for an appointment on January 4, 2010.  The attendance zone listing for the schools and registration requirements may be found using the links below.

Winter Break for students begins with an early release on December 22, 2009, and students report back to school on Monday, January 4, 2010.

2nd Vaccines for students ages 9 and under are not being released at this time.  Further questions about this topic should be directed to the Health Department.

B.E.A.M. Day at Conway
Two math lessons have been scheduled for Friday, November 20th, at Conway Elementary.  Parents are invited to attend either or both sessions.

Grades 3-5: 9:30-11:00 am
Grades K-2: 1:00-2:45 pm
