Conway Orff Ensemble
We will only rehearse twice in November on the 5th and 12th.
No rehearsal November 19th.
NEW DATE: The Fine Arts Festival has been moved to March 27 & 28th.
We will perform on the 28th. CFHS will be hosting us this year.

The Conway Orff Ensemble is an elite group that is 25 members strong. To participate in this ensemble a student must be in 4th or 5th grade. Orff Ensemble members learn proper mallet technique and perfect note reading skills. Members have the opportunity to play Soprano, Alto and Bass Xylophones and Metallophones, Contra Bass Bars, Soprano & Alto Glockenspiels, and various unpitched percussion instruments such temple blocks, triangles, conga drums, wood blocks, etc.
These students are expected to practice at home each week prior to Thursday morning rehearsals. Glockenspiels are available for check out.
If you are ever in the building at 8 AM please stop by to have them play for you. These students LOVE to perform!!!!!
Rehearsal Schedule:
October 8th - 1st Rehearsal, 15, 22, 29
November - 5 & 12 (no rehearsal on the 19th)
December - 3, 10, 17
January - 7, 14, 21, 28
February - 4, 11, 18, 25
March - 4, 11, 18, 25
March 31 (Wednesday) - End of year breakfast with Chorus
Performance Schedule:
March 28th - Fine Arts Festival at CFHS time TBA
** Orff performs first, so navy shirts go on top if you child participates in both chorus & orff.
Please make sure your child's name is inside both shirts!
